چکیده

This study investigates the impact of gas metal arc welding (GMAW) parameters on bead geometry and material distortion AISI 316L. Three parameters—arc current in ampere (A), filler feed rate (m/min), composition—were modified at varying levels order to examine their effects. sheds new light MAG lines’ physical properties behavior highlights influence quaternary shielding compositions. Taguchi analysis, which includes signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio analysis variance (ANOVA), was utilized analyze optimize parameters. found that significantly impacts geometry, while composition has most significant effect angular transverse shrinkage. The optimal for achieving best height width are 160 A, 3.5 m/min, G1, with a 4.89 mm, 120 3 G2, 6.69 mm. Moreover, minimizing both shrinkage 4 resulting an value 0.0042° 0.0254 research practical implications improving performance can contribute advancement MIG manufacturing applications.
